Tykes Learning Corner is a home daycare providing childcare in the Glen Cairn area of Kanata (Ottawa), Ontario, Canada. Kimberly McCann, owner and operator has been providing childcare professionally for about ten years in the Ottawa region. Four years at daycare facilities and for the past nine years has opened a private daycare. I graduated with honors as an Early Childhood Educator from Algonquin College. I also hold a Registered ECE certificate from the College of Early Childhood Educators in Ontario. I chose to open a home daycare so I could continue my passion of working with children, but at the same time have the ability to raise my own children at home. You will discover a great deal of information on this site regarding Tykes Learning Corners philosophy, behavior management, policies, curriculum, menu, and rates.
