Games - Duck Duck Goose

Five or more
RULES OF THE GAME:
One child is chosen to be it. The other children sit in a circle, facing each other, with their legs crossed. The chosen child walks around the outside of the circle and taps each child on the head, naming him either duck or goose. Most of the children will be named duck. When a child is named goose, that child gets up and tries to tag the "it' before he gets back to the goose's seat. If the child gets to the goose's seat before he is tagged, then the child who was the goose becomes it, and the game starts over. If the "it" gets tagged then he must sit in the middle of the circle, called the mush pot, until somebody else gets tagged. The person who was in the mush pot can then rejoin the circle. The goose then becomes it.
