London Bridge
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:At least ten
RULES OF THE GAME:
Two children are chosen to become the tower. They clasp hands and raise them to form an arch. The rest of the children sing the song, and walk under the arch one at a time. When they get to the verse "My Fair Lady", the towers drop the arch and trap one child. The child who is trapped then replaces the child who has been a tower the longest.
SONG:
London Bridge is falling down,
falling down,
falling down,
London Bridge is falling down,
My Fair Lady!
Build it up with iron bars,

My Fair Lady!
Iron bars will bend and break,

Gold and silver I have none,
My Fair Lady!

Wood and clay will wash away,
My Fair Lady!
Take a key and lock her up,

Take a key and lock her up,
My Fair Lady!
