Science (Misc Experiments) - Floating Paper Clip
MATERIALS:
Drinking glass
Paper towel
Water
2 paper clips
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Fill the glass with water
2) Unfold the paper clip
3) First demonstrate that paper clips don’t float
4) Remove the first paper clip
5) Dry it off
6) Place the paper clip in the flat surface of the unfolded paper clip
7) Gently lower the paper clip to the surface of the water, then lower it onto the water.
